The Level 2 Award in Mental Health Awareness course, as offered by F1TCO is the Active IQ Level 2 Award in Mental Health Awareness. This qualification aims to provide learners with an understanding and awareness of mental health, common mental health disorders and issues, help reduce stigma and discrimination and encourage people to talk about mental health.
Furthermore, the qualification will provide learners with ability to apply their knowledge of mental health through recognising and responding to the signs of mental ill health in themselves and others, whether that’s their own clients, work colleagues or even family and friends and be able to offer mental health first aid to people experiencing mental ill health.
Duration of course
This course is completed via an online learning platform in your own time which includes online recorded videos and revision quiz questions for each unit, followed by two online multiple choice exams and the help of our F1TCO Tutors. The course takes anything from 4 to 6 weeks to complete (on average) and covers the Active IQ Level 2 Award in Mental Health Awareness.
